Men's Golf plays well but sit in ninth after day one of the WHAC Championships

AUGUSTA, Mich. – Men's Golf competed in the first day of the WHAC Championships where they had the splendid opportunity to walk 36-holes and compete against conference opponents. The Golden Eagles shot one of the better rounds of the spring shooting a 307 but sit in eighth place after the first round showing the competition in the conference. Luke Theeuwes led the way in the first round shooting an even par 71 with Isaiah Lowe right behind him with a 74. It was just about the same in round two for the Golden Eagles as they shot a 308 as Isaiah Lowe led the way with a 73 with Logan Melcher right behind him with a 75. At the end of the day, Cornerstone sits in ninth place as they will be right back in action for the final round of the WHAC Championship tomorrow morning.
