Women’s Golf breaks school record in season opening tournament

ADA, Mich. – The Golden Eagle women's golf team competed in their first tournament of the 2021-22 season, and shot a school record 347 at Quail Ridge Golf Course at the Pure Michigan Invitational hosted by Grace College. The mark is two strokes better than the previous record set at Quail Ridge a season ago in the same tournament. Kenzi Uhen led the way with an 83, just two strokes short of tying Katrina Goebel's individual program record for a round of 18 to help the team finish fourth overall. Cornerstone will continue early season action tomorrow in the Battle of CU with Calvin at The Mines at 2:30 p.m.
