Women’s Golf Finishes Tied for 11th at PSAC Championships

KUTZTOWN – The East Stroudsburg University women's golf team wrapped up the 2022-23 season on Sunday as the Warriors finished tied for 11th place at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships at the Berkleigh Golf Club.

Today's final round was canceled due to inclement weather.

Concluding her ESU career, senior Mariah Minter led the way for the Warriors finishing in a tie for 38th with a 189 (+45). Minter fired a 90 in the first round on Friday and returned with a 99 on Saturday.

Sophomore Samantha Young was in a tie for 41st after firing a 191 (+41), which included a 91 in round two. Fellow classmate Morgyn Wiley took 48th with a 203 (+59) and freshman Makena Young finished 56th with a 277 (+133).

Gannon won the PSAC Championship with a two-day total of 627 (+51) and the Golden Knights' Ditte Petersen claimed the individual title after carding a combined total of 151 (+7).
