Women’s Golf Places Fourth at Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN – It was a quick turnaround for the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team as the Warriors placed fourth at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday afternoon from Lehigh Country Club.

Samantha Young led ESU in 11th out of 31 golfers as the Sayville, N.Y. native fired a 101 (+31) on the par 70, 5,702-yard course.

Junior Morgyn Wiley was 22nd with a round of 112 (+42) and freshman Abby Beyer was right behind in 23rd after carding a 114 (+44). Makena Young finished in 30th as the sophomore totaled 170 (+100).  

Alvernia captured the team title as the Wolves posted a combined total of 343 (+63). The Wolves' Katie Lapinsky and Rylee Stenzel were co-medalists as the duo each carded a 77 (+7).
