[Women's Golf] Women's Golf Takes 10th at Mount Marty Invite

Doane Women's Golf finished the Mount Marty Invite in 10th place after posting a two-day score of 770 (371-399). Nationally ranked Morningside was the team champion with a 629.Tressa Bull (SR/Burke, S.D.) paced the Tigers with a 36th place finish and 182 (92-90) final score. Emma Sheaffer (FR/Greeley, Colo.) finished in 48th place after recording a 192 (90-102). Anna Korte (SR/Grand Island, Neb.) shot a 196 (93-103) to tie for 49th overall. Tying for 54th was Hayden Klaus (FR/Bellevue, Neb.) with a score of 200 (96-104). Sydney Erickson (SO/Pierce, Neb.) rounded out the varsity scoring with a 212 (107-105) to finish 64th.Playing under individual status was Tiffany Carnahan (SO/Fremont, Neb.) and Macy Due (JR/Cordova, Neb.). Carnahan tied for 61st with a score of 206 (95-111). Due posted a 217 (101-116) and finished 66th.The Tigers will have two weeks off before returning to competition when they compete in the Sioux City area on September 17-18 at the Lila Frommelt Classic hosted by Briar Cliff.
