[Men's Golf] Furlong Ties for 11th, SXU Places 8th at Spring Tiger Invite

St. Anne, Ill. – Senior Michael Furlong (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) tied for 11th overall with a round of 77 (+5) for the Saint Xavier University men's golf team at the Spring Tiger Invite hosted by Olivet Nazarene University (Ohio) at the Elks Country Club in St. Anne, Ill. The Cougars placed eighth out of the nine team field with a team score of 333 (+45). The tournament was shortened to a one-day event as the forecast called for a wintery mix on Saturday and the coaches agreed to keep the tournament one round.
