[Men's Golf] Furlong Ties for 21st at Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff

TAMPA, Fla. – Junior Michael Furlong shot a three-round total of 239 (80-77-82), was +24 and tied for 21st out of a field of 41 golfers for the Saint Xavier University men's golf team in the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff at the Saddlebrook Course hosted by Walsh University (Ohio) in Tampa, Fla. As a team, the Cougars were sixth out of six teams, shooting +81 with a total score of 1,078 (358-359-361) to start the Spring portion of their schedule.NCAA Division II Northwood University (Mich.) won the team event by four shots (904) over host Walsh (908). Individually, Kade Cannon from St. Thomas University (Fla.) shot 219, was +9 and won the tournament by two strokes.
