[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Falcons receive votes in NAIA Top 25 Coaches' poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In just its second season back as a program, the Friends University Men's Golf Falcons are now receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches' poll, the national office released today (Oct. 7).The Falcons collected 62 points and came in as the 30th ranked team overall."Our team has worked hard this fall and taken several steps forward," said Dustin Galyon, Friends University Director of Golf and men's golf head coach. "This is great recognition of where our program is and where it is headed. Our guys love competing and that is fun!"In their last time out, the Falcons recorded a solid runner-up finish in the KCAC Match Play in Dodge City, Kan.The Falcons were the second seed and defeated Southwestern College and Bethany College before No. 19-ranked Kansas Wesleyan University rallied for a 3-2 win in the final round.Under Friends University men's golf head coach and Director of Golf Dustin Galyon, the Falcons have been surging this season, highlighted by a pair of tourney victories at the Crestview Country Club.The Falcons are now set to wrap up the fall portion of their season at the Virginal McCoy Invitational, set for Oct. 10-11 at the National & The Deuce Country Club in Kansas City, Kan.
