[Women's Golf] The Bluejay Women's golf team ends the Fall season with their home event at Sand …

Newton, Kan.- The Bluejay Women's golf team played host to 8 different teams that brought in a total of 35 players in a year that was hard to host big events.  Kansas Wesleyan Held of Dodge City Community College for victory to win by 35 strokes. The Bluejays did not have a team at the event but took two individuals Lauryn Paredez (FR/Cutler, Calif.) and Gracie Trogdon (FR/Lawton, Okla.) to compete.     Lauryn Paredez took the top spot for the Bluejays "Showing a lot of promise for a breakout spring season" says coach Jamieson. "She is hitting the ball much further and more consistent than last season and she is mainly missing the short game to go along with it. She is probably one of the biggest hitters in our conference."     Gracie Trogdon had a 7 stroke improvement from her first round and really showed improvement heading into the break for the Bluejays. "As a freshman it is hard to know what to expect not only on the course but in the classroom." said coach Jamieson.  "I was proud of her for her resilience on the course and never giving up. This is something that is hard to teach and I'm looking forward to seeing how she grows at Tabor College."WHATS NEXT-  They Lady Jays will play next this Spring and will look to be full strength as they get back their number one player who has one goal in mind, to win conference.
