[Women's Golf] Meils named second team all-conference

CCAC releaseFour top-10 finishes, including a ninth-place showing at the CCAC Championships, helped Becki Meils earn second team all-conference honors as the league announced its women's golf postseason awards.The ninth-place finish came part of a strong finish to the spring for Meils.The senior from Cave Creek, Ariz., sandwiched an 85 for a fifth-place effort at the Mount Mercy Spring Invitational and rounds of 79 and 87 to take sixth at the season-ending Augustana Viking Invitational around her performance at the conference tournament. Her 79 was the team's best round of the year.Her two-round 175 helped St. Ambrose finish second at the CCAC Championships, the team's best finish at a conference tournament since the 2010 team won the Midwest Collegiate Conference crown.Meils started the year with runner-up honors at the Carl Sandburg Triangular in the fall.She averaged an 89.14 over 14 rounds this year.
